Sennheiser HDR 120 Supraural Headphones For RS 110/RS 120These Head set work perfect with the RS120 in harmony. Perfect sound with great reception.
I wake up without the red ears I used to get with the others. I bought this headset to replace a radio shack wireless headset where the batteries were failing. The sound quality is excellent. I have found that they are cool and comfortable to wear. Oh, one other thing I discovered that I really like is that the ear cushions are easily removable and can be cleaned with a mild detergent, dried and snapped right back on. good bass and the highs are clear.
The old set was around the ear, so was more secure, but after a couple of hours were intolerable to wear. I like the Sennheiser for its quality, the fact that it sounds great and for the fact that it uses AAA rechargeables (comes with it) that will hold a charge for more than 24 hrs of use, and they are easily replaceable when that time comes. If there is a complaint it would be that they fit on the ear and as such feels loose on the head, so when I do use them while moving about they slip. I use these primarily in bed so as not to disturb the wife while watching TV. I am one of those who needs the noise in order to sleep, so the headphones are on all night albeit at low volume. tradeoffs.
So, bottom line, I am very satisfied with these and recommend them to other night owls or those who need to wear them for long periods.
I have had my Sennheiser HDR120 headphones for almost a year now. Whereas I often have trouble hearing speech clearly coming straight from the TV, with these headphones I get crystal clear sound. I like being able to roam around the house and not miss a word of sound. I have demonstrated these to numerous friends, and their most common reaction is, "I gotta have a set of those."
After 5 minutes of silence, the transmitter shuts down. I initially bought them to use at my work, but have since brought them home because the interference there was too high. I've been using these headphones for about 3 months now. The headphones then burst into static because they're no longer receiving a signal. Tuning them is difficult, but in a lower interference environment once you get them set you typically don't have to play with it. It's pretty much impossible to get rid of a slight hiss though. The biggest problem with these headphones is the automatic turn-off of the transmitter. It's pointless since the headphones are still wasting battery and the transmitter is plugged in, and god forbid you be doing something where sound isn't absolutely consistent.I could handle the tuning issues as just being part of the wireless game, and I love the freedom of being able to just leave my headphones on when I need to go do laundry. But really, the transmitter cut off makes these equal parts delightful and irritating.
I can't believe the quality and usable distance of these headphones. I hear nothing but quality sound. I have heard no hissing and no fade. The controls are easy to use and the sensitivity makes whatever you're listening to, sound like your listening to it live.
